The Y U letterbox has been a WOM box located in Memorial Park. The idea was that the clues would start with one person...who would be chosen for a reason (I actually started it with two people). Each of these two recipients could pass the clues to ONE and ONLY ONE letterboxer (or a group that letterboxes together). The new recipient could pass the clues along to ONE new person and so on.

Kind of like a giant game of telephone.

The only rule was that when the clues were passed, the passer must tell the person Y U (why you) shared the clues with them. I asked to be emailed as the clues were passed, so that I could keep track of who had them.

People were also free to rewrite the clues if they desired before they were passed.

Okay, so I thought this was a great idea...I had visions of increasingly complicated clues (in multiple languages or more)...but it sort of fizzled after the first couple of finders.

So I've decided to change the rules of this box and open up access to it.

Why you?

Because you were smart enough to follow the hidden link.

Here is the clue:

Go to Memorial Park.

Find the road that runs alongside the golf course clubhouse and down to Memorial Drive, find the blue port-a-potty on the side of the road by the jogging path. Park near here, and cross the street following the wide grass/dirt path that goes back into wood. Take the first path to the left and count 150 steps. You should see a large stump on the left of the trail. 5 steps behind this is a tree. Box is hidden at the front base of the tree, under forest debris.

Please rehide well.
